Expedient Data Center

Expedient is part of a network of eight nationwide data centers, and offers a wide range of managed services such as virtualization, cloud computing, remote backups, management of equipment, storage area networks and more. These proven managed services combined with reliable and redundant SAS70 compliant data centers are how Expedient delivers premier colocation, network and managed services to enterprise, commercial,education and government entities.

Expedient’s second data center in Pittsburgh, located in Allegheny Center Mall (ACM), is 26,000 square feet with 10,000 square feet of raised floor monitored 24x7x365 by experienced and certified engineers.  The facility boasts four 500 kVa Uninterruptable Power Supply Units, dual power feeds, 500 tons of cooling and a Caterpillar generator producing 2.2 MW of power.  ACM is connected via 10 Gbps long haul fiber optic rings to the other seven data centers throughout the Midwest and up the east coast.
