At TowerMetriX we understand that keeping your organization’s performance management data private and secure is a serious responsibility.

The TowerMetriX system has been designed to meet this challenge in three important ways:

1. Separate

  • Each TowerMetriX client has a completely separate and private SQL Server 2008 database – Not just separate tables.
  • Isolating each client database effectively eliminates any risk that one client’s data could be accidentally or maliciously accessed by another.
  • Each client installation is completely scalable, performance is better, and in the unlikely event of a failure, restoring from backup is a straightforward process.

2. Safe

  • TowerMetriX is hosted at Expedient Communication’s tier-1 state-of-the-art, multi-million dollar, fully-secured data center.
  • The center is staffed 365 x 24 x 7 and under constant camera surveillance.
  • The facility is SAS 70 Type II certified, has protected and redundant servers and full generator backup systems.
  • Incremental data backups are done every 6 hours and a full backup every day.

3. Secure

  • Users must provide a valid username and a private password to login to TowerMetriX. Passwords are always encrypted.
  • Access to specific TowerMetriX features is restricted based on user role (employee, manager, HR)
  • All web transmissions, including those accessed through mobile devices, are run in the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) using 128-bit encryption.
  • Users are automatically logged out when there hasn’t been any TowerMetriX activity for a period of time.
